Welcome to my dev log!
26/05/2026 - Playtesting
The game is "finished"!!! "Finished", as in, you can play through it all, the art is all there, so are the mechanics, audio, music. But not finished finished because... now comes the final and most thorough round of playtesting!
I'm going to playtest this weekend with some friends "in person", so I can see their reactions live. I'm also preparing a form to send to playtesters online, so they can record their screens and "think aloud" as they play, besides answering a few questions (are YOU interested?? if so let me know, it'd be lovely to get your help).
I'm also preparing the itch.io page (the cover for the game is the image above). The game will be available both on itch.io and this website, to play on your browser, for free. I am considering doing a mobile friendly version, but I'm still not certain... I don't know if many people would be interested in playing like that...
Exporting the game for HTML5 (to run on browser) is funny, as some random bugs appeared. For example, inexplicably some sound effects sounded different than when played through local files. I have no idea why that happens, but I figured how to solve it, so the reason does not matter but still, I'm curious. Gladly none of it was major or hard to solve, just quirky.
Well, the end (of development) is near! Please let me know if you have any thoughts on the comment box below, and I hope to return with more news soon :)
